Who Are Super Mario?s Friends?

Before you embark on an adventurous epic journey to save the princesses it’s better to know your friends and foes. Here is a list of friends who might come to your aid to fight your enemies and save your love.

Rosalina:

Rosalina is a Non-Playable Mario Character (NPMC) and an important character who lives in the Comet Observatory. Her observatory has been attacked by Bowser and she stands helpless void of any power. As Mario helps her to bring back her observatory to power she offers a helping hand in his journey to save the princess Peach from Bowser. She is so akin to the Cosmic Witch of Super Mario Galaxy except that she appears at the end. She is one of the NPMCs in Mario Bros WiiU game: Super Mario 3D World.

Toad and Toadette:

Toad’s female version is Toadette. They appear in spin-off games of Mario such as the Mario (characters and their traits) Kart and Mario Party.Mario Kart Double Dast have Toad and Toadette together on racing adventures. While Mario Party6 or 8 have Toadette as a Non-Playable Mario Character, in Mario Party 10 she can be unlocked thus becoming a playable Mario Brothers Character.

Birdo:

Birdo also known as Catherine in Japan is a cute pink anthropomorphic creature who can fire eggs as projectiles through her mouth. She was introduced as an antagonist in the earliest versions of Mario – Super Mario Bros 2 (Japanese version: Yume Kojo: Doki Doki Panic)and then later turned out to be a friend for Mario. While if it’s a he or she has always been a debate the nonetheless the character is adorable. Appearing consistently in many spin-off games of Mario she is a blockbuster hit among the Mario fanatics.

Diddy Kong:

Diddy Kong is the friend of Donkey Kong who is also anthropomorphic and has had famous appearances in both Donkey Kong and Mario franchises. Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart are some of the spin-offs in which he is playable. In Mario Kart, there is a personal track for Donkey Kong, the DK Mountain. The Giant banana is shared by Donkey and the Diddy Kong.

 Kong was meant to depict gorilla and donkey means stupid. And this name fits the bill because Donkey king is not a villain but an escaped pet.  Diddy is the British slang word for small. Diddy Kong has adventures of his own and has his own racing games in Nintendo 64 and Nintendo DS.
